Equipment Radio Call 01/05

  • Originally, the Atlantic Trident was scheduled to be available from October 28, 2024, until April 28, 2025. After careful consideration we have decided to prolong this until October 28, 2025.

Blueprints

Equipment Radio Calls contain a variety of rewards, including Blueprints for a specific type of equipment.

In this article, we will inform you about our Special Equipment Call lasting 4 weeks (see right below) and our Standard Equipment Call lasting 6 months. We also included a tutorial to explain how Equipment Radio Calls work.


Multiple Special Calls

Usually, 3 special calls and 1 standard call are ongoing at the same time.

Availability

Special Equipment Radio Calls are available for 4 weeks. between May 1 and May 28, 2025, 08:00 UTC. From Camp, go to Radio > Collect Equipment & Resources.


Darkstar (Assault)

Special functionality

Attacks in a large circular area around the target. After attacking enemies, there is a 40% chance to [Decay] them, reducing their damage and [Damage Reduction] by 20% for 2 turns. Also, there is a 40% chance to apply a [Grenade Tip] to the target. Attacking targets with Grenade Tip triggers [Detonation], dealing instances of [Additional Damage] (25% of the attacker’s Total Damage) equal to the number of Grenade Tipped enemies within reach, removing the Tip afterward. Grenade Tip targets within reach of [Flame Trap], Tyreese’s LT, or Magna’s LT will have their Detonation’s damage multiplier increased by 10%. When Decayed enemies attack, the wielder’s [Base Damage] and[Damage Reduction will increase by 15%.

Charge attack is a bonus attack that can be targeted anywhere on the ground within range, [Herding] the main target and other targets around it while stunning other targets.

Strategy

The Darkstar's charge attack can give your stunnable/herdable enemies 2 debuffs: they can get stunned and be herded. However, stuns normally override the herd status, leaving you with little to no herded enemies. Think further: with this weapon, we want to allow you to have the strength of the stuns in most missions, similar to other Assault weapons, while missions that have stun resist debuffs (example: Plight, Doomsday Challenge) still give you a valuable extra in the form of herding when you use your charge attack.

Quinn's War Hammer (Bruiser)

Special functionality

Attacks in a three-space arc ahead of the user. Non-body shots stun targets, and the main target of your attack never results in a Body Shot. Weapon damage is increased by 3% per threat level. Overwatch attacks force the enemy to end their turn early. When attacking stun-resistant walkers, there is a ‘7% per threat level’ chance to stun it anyway, affected by Lucky and capped at 90%. When the stun attempt fails, it deals damage equal to 25% of the target’s Current HP to all walkers within attack range. When the threat level is above 9, the original three-space arc expands by 90 degrees.

PPK (Shooter)

Special functionality

Attacks have a 35% chance to inflict the 'Bone Crusher' effect on enemies, which will cause the enemy's next attack to miss the target (not affected by Lucky), lasting for 1 turn. Charge attack is a bonus attack that inflicts guaranteed Critical hit and guaranteed Bone Crusher.

How does it work?

From Camp, go to Radio > Collect Equipment & Resources.

You can use our 'Skip' button so you don't have to click individual rewards. In the future, we might include this Skip button in Hero calls too.

The Radio Call includes all kinds of rewards, as shown in the distribution table below.

Costs

Collecting 1 time costs 10 Radios, while collecting 10 times costs 90 Radios.

Luck Points

For each time you collect, you gain 1 Luck Point. Luck Points add up to 80, after which you get the Blueprint guaranteed. As shown in the distribution table above, the more Luck Points you gather, the higher the chance you will obtain the Blueprint earlier.


Standard: Atlantic Trident (Warrior)

Availability

Available from October 28, 2024, until October 28, 2025. From Camp, go to Radio > Collect Equipment & Resources.

Special functionality

Reaches 2 spaces away and hits in a cone-shaped area. Overwatch attacks force the enemy to end their turn early. Movement Speed is increased by 2 spaces. When you pass a walker, you have a 100% chance to not be attacked. When attacking 2 or more targets, there's a 75% chance to deal +20% weapon damage (including Apocalyptic Weapon Damage) as extra damage (can be amplified by Lucky).

Charge attack is a bonus attack that inflicts guaranteed Critical Hit.
